Best St. Patrick's Day ever!

Had a wonderful day today :)

Matt and I started our day with breakfast in the sunroom. The trees are beginning to bud and so it won't be long till we can't see our neighbors anymore when we sit in the sun room or out in the garden.
After breakfast we decided we'd do some gardening. However, as it is St. Patricks day we thought it would only be right to have a shandy before starting the hard
work.

Then the hard work began. Matt decided to prioritize and get the hammock set up first.......

I started raking the leaves out of the flower beds, but I got a blister which then promptly burst. Being injured I decided then would be a good time for another beer.

It wasn't all hammock laying and beer drinking though. We did get all the raking done!

It was all very tiring!

The houses behind won't be visible for much longer. You can't see it in this photo, but there is a bush that is about to bloom on the fence. The yard becomes really private when everything has greened up.

We ate both meals outside today. For lunch we had baguette with spinach, mozzarella, tomato and pesto on the patio. Dinner tonight was grilled asparagus, mushrooms, onions and chicken drumsticks at the picnic table.

So after such a tiring day it's now time to sit down with one final beer :)
